Carolina Raptor Center

On Friday, June 1, 2012 the Carolina Raptor Center came to our school with some really cool birds. The Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to environmental stewardship and the conservation of birds of prey through education, research, and the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned raptors.

The Carolina Raptor Center has over 23 different species of raptors and we were look enough to meet four of them.

Check out the photos below of our four new friends: DC (the Broad Wing Hawk), Airborn (the Falcon), Siri (the Barn Owl) and Astraya (the Spectacle Owl).
